Dua Lipa is currently living her best pop-star-on-tour life—would she ever not? This month, the singer kicked off her Radical Optimism tour with five nights of shows in Melbourne, Australia. Just a few performances in, and her concert has already proven to be a high-fashion affair worth booking a ticket to see: Lipa sports custom looks by Valentino, Balenciaga, Chanel (naturally, as an ambassador), and more on the main stage. But on her days off, the superstar is enjoying an entirely different style to what we see in the arena.

This morning (March 27), Lipa was spotted enjoying some time off in Sydney, Australia with friends—and she totally nailed the art of tourist style. What is ‘tourist style,’ you may ask? Lipa slipped into a comfy-casual look that was ready for sightseeing at Bondi Beach, where she partook in getting some sun and ice-cream. But do not be mistaken: Her dressed-down ensemble was still fashion-minded. For starters, her white tank top wasn’t any ol’ sleeveless tee: It was a bold statement style that read ‘Hardcore,’ and she styled it with a sheer green skirt with lace trim, and a western-style belt. Accessorized further, with a scoop of vanilla and a swipe of caramel.

Even her choice of beach bag and shoe was chic, too. Forget the customary beachside raffia tote, because she opted for a Chanel 22 drawstring bag instead. (She is a Chanel girl, after all!) Lipa also forwent rubber flip-flops for a more avant-garde shoe—a pair of Maison Margiela Tabi ballet flats, one of the most polarizing silhouettes in the designer footwear world, thanks to that saucy split-toe detail.

Over on Instagram, the star sent “kisses from Sydney”—where she’s performing for three nights— while wearing her own tour merch bikini, a red and blue star-spangled triangle bra with matching pants.

Overall, Dua Lipa’s eclectic mix of pieces was entirely unexpected for the beach, but Lipa made grabbing a scoop of vanilla ice-cream look good. (Who else wants a cone?). Next up, she’ll hit New Zealand before jetting back to Europe for dates in Spain, France, and further afield—expect more touristic fashions to ensue.
